Meghan Tangen received her Master of Social Work from Florida State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut, Florida, and South Carolina. Meghan has developed her clinical skills by providing individual and group therapy sessions to children and adolescents during her time working in a variety of medical and mental health settings, including the Yale Child Study Center. She offers a client-centered and strengths-perspective while sharing a multi-modality approach. Modalities that Meghan utilizes include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. Meghan has experience treating trauma, chronic illness, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and social/behavioral concerns. She is also a certified CBT psychotherapist and Clinical Trauma Professional. Her passion is centered in working with others to promote healing and desired change.
